These are chocolate cupcakes and caramel cupcakes, decorated with red butter icing and chocolate fudge icing. And because I was experimenting with recipes and such, my colleagues scored again!

Can some one please give me a any help as how to get the icing red? Adding red food colourant makes the icing turn pinkish? I’m trying to bake a winnie the pooh cake for my nephew’s 1st birthday party and winnie is wearing a red jacket.
Any help will be appreciated.
