Strawberry cheesecake cupcakes with cream cheese icing!

Currently, strawberries are really hard to find, but I go to Woollies every day to have a look just in case. I found a little punnet of decent strawberries and a small punnet of raspberries, which are just so divine when combined with the cream cheese its quite amazing.

A “Soft Serve” cupcake on a vanilla cake, a chocolate crème-caramel secret-center cake in a purple cup, and a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing.

These were for a little girl’s birthday party. She just loves animals, and she and her mommy found a picture of a cake they liked online, and sent it to me.

These first few pictures are from when I started working on the elephant, tiger, zebra and leopard faces for the tops of the cupcakes.

And this is the finished box. A selection of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cupcakes with animal faces on, and some with green butter icing and flowers.

For this week’s Triple Treat boxes, I’ve decided on a “Soft Serve Cupcake“, a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese icing, and a chocolate cupcake with a crème-caramel secret-centre and sticky ganache type icing and chopped nuts topping!!

These are vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. Half of the vanilla cupcakes have cream cheese icing and coloured sugar, the other half have purple and white two-tone icing with silver dragees. The chocolate cupcakes have chocolate butter icing and little purple fondant flowers on them.
