A Blue And Brown First Birthday Party
Andrea ordered a cake and cupcakes from me for little Henry’s first birthday party and asked for a blue and brown colour scheme. The vanilla cupcakes with blue vanilla butter icing were made to accompany a cake…
This is a square, three layer, chocolate cake sandwiched and iced with chocolate ganache. I then covered it with white sugarpaste and decorated it with sugarpaste squares in shades of blue and brown.
Andrea asked for four sugarpaste bears to sit on top of the cake, and I made them in four different poses and four different shades of brown. Three of the bears are on the front of the cake and one is on the back behind the blocks.
The five toy blocks spelling out Henry’s name are decorated sugarpaste squares that I glued to squares of chocolate cake using cream cheese icing!
I am rather pleased with this cake, I hope Andrea and her loved ones enjoyed it!

Another Cupcake Gift From Thabang!
Thabang’s friends must LOVE her! She orders cupcakes from me quote often and they are always sent to someone for a special occasion!
This order was very special.
Daine has just graduated- or will be soon- and she ordered a batch of chocolate cupcakes for him. Half of them had a Nutella stuffing and half had fudge secret centres, and she asked that they be topped with 12 different sugarpaste decorations depicting Daine and his interests! The cricket bat, cricket ball and soccer ball I bought ready-made, the rest I made by hand.
