This is a selection of cappuccino cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes to celebrate a golden wedding anniversary! When my son got home from work today he could smell the cappuccino cupcakes and he was very disappointed when there wasn’t one for him!

To celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary, these cupcakes are in gold paper cups and some of them are in jars with gold ribbons. The chocolate cupcakes are topped with chocolate butter icing highlighted with some edible gold spray and gold sugar, and the cappuccino cupcakes are topped with a cappuccino icing and gold sugar.

Lauren had a vintage themed wedding, and asked me to make chocolate cupcakes with a coffee flavoured icing which is light brown, and I then added a little gold spray to each cupcake for a vintage look.

The cupcake stand is simply gold covered cake boards with tall shot glasses seperating them!

It consists of cherry vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese icing, coffee flavour cupcakes with a koeksister secret centre topped with chocolate butter icing and chocolate cupcakes topped with my trademark soft serve butter icing!

Tamiya ordered my own personal creation- coffee and koeksister secret centre cupcakes- and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing to savour over the weekend.

Dieter is the minister who is conducting our wedding ceremony in July, and at one of our get-to-know-each-other sessions I took some cupcakes along for him and his wife. They loved them, and when his birthday came up this weekend he ordered a batch for his guests.

Its a mixture of chocolate, vanilla and the coffee flavoured ones with koeksisters inside. He said I could decorate them any way I liked, so he got a real mixture, including the purple and yellow!

I experimented with one of them as well, and I LOVE the result!!!
