Jennifer ordered these decadent red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and opted for the cupcake-in-a-jar to hand out at her sister Romi’s bachelorette party – an outing to Madame Zingara!

Tanya from Snapping Turtle Design was an absolute GENIUS in incorporating a splash of the Madame Zingara theme into the stickers she did for me for the jar lids!

Remember the chocolate cake I baked for my dad’s birthday last year? Krizelda ordered one for her dad!

Its four layers of a delectable chocolate cake sandwiched with strawberry jam, caramel and chocolate cream cheese, covered with chocolate butter icing and smothered in a dark chocolate ganache- topped with a ring of whole glacé cherries!

Krizelda also ordered a batch of Neapolitan cupcakes-in-a-jar! Neapolitan of course, is a combination of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavours, and in a jar its perfect! When you open the jar the first thing you smell is the strawberry butter icing, and as you dig in with the spoon you get the chocolate and vanilla flavours mixed in!

Krizelda and her mom were also lucky enough to have a small taste of the purple velvet cake that I had cut open to photograph!

Poor Sonia was supposed to fetch her order from me on Friday but she was as sick as a dog! Thankfully she was feeling more like herself on Saturday and could come and collect her vanilla cupcake-in-a-jar order from me!

Denise ordered these red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and opted for the cupcake-in-a-jar treatment so as to give them to her guests as party favours! Don’t they look pretty!
