I did this cupcake-in-a-jar order for a birthday celebration, and there were a few “cuptails” included for the grownups!

The glass jar with a gold lid, disposable teaspoon and green satin ribbon is filled with a gin & tonic cuptail, the jar with the red ribbon is filled with a strawberry daiquiri cuptail!

The jar with a yellow ribbon is filled with a lemon & poppyseed cupcake and the one with the silver ribbon is filled with an Earl Grey tea cupcake!

Red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing – IN JARS!

This is a carrot cake wedding cake with cream cheese icing!
The bottom tier is a dummy cake, so the two top tiers are cake, and the middle tier’s curls and tendrils are hand painted.

Ilani and Ryan’s Wedding in Blue and Green

Ilani and Ryan got married at Afrique Boutique, and they ordered a wedding cake as well as cupcakes-in-jars for their guests to take home with them. The vanilla and chocolate cupcakes-in-jars were decorated with a green or a blue ribbon and a little wooden teaspoon (which are now impossible to find), and a thank you message on a sticker on the lid – designed and printed for me as always by the fabulous Snapping Turtle Design.

The two-tiered vanilla cake with vanilla butter icing was decorated with blue sugar paste flowers and pearls,
and the bunting was provided by the bride.

Bright Blue Wedding Ruffles!

I delivered this wedding cake and cupcake-in-a-jar order to Makiti last year.

Inside it’s a bright turquoise velvet cake with cream cheese icing, the top tier is a double height “barrel” cake, covered in white sugar paste. The bottom tier is decorated with upside down sugar paste ruffles, in turquoise ombre, topped with a white sugar paste peony.

The cupcake-in-a-jar wedding favours are also turquoise velvet with cream cheese icing, closed with gold lids, a turquoise ribbon, and a little disposable teaspoon.
