Okay, so you know I don’t infringe on copyright when it comes to decorating cakes and cupcakes, but when a young someone has their heart set on a theme I try to do something that fits without crossing the line.
These chocolate cuppies with green vanilla butter icing (gluten, egg and dairy free) were for a Ninja Turtles birthday party, and they went to school, so one cupcake was decorated with a pizza slice, a sword and a “tortoiseshell” six.
Mandi ordered the sweet treats for her wedding waaay back in May, and on Saturday afternoon I delivered a cake and cupcakes to The Hertford for her wedding!
The cake and cupcakes are all vanilla and some of the cupcakes are egg-less.
The cupcakes were topped with a pale yellow, sparkly, vanilla butter icing and decorated with a piped purple vanilla butter icing rose and little sugarpaste leaves. The cupcake wrappers with the little laser cut hearts in them were ordered from Paperkutz.
The cake was filled with vanilla butter icing before I covered it with a pale yellow sugarpaste. I then decorated the cake with piped purple vanilla butter icing roses and green sugarpaste leaves to echo the look of the cupcakes.
Yesterday I delivered a purple velvet cake and cupcakes to Moon & Sixpence for a wedding!
The purple velvet cake was filled and covered with my delectable cream cheese icing, and decorated with white chocolate scrolls and little handmade sugarpaste bugs!
The cupcakes, all in purple paper cups, were also topped with cream cheese icing and decorated with little handmade sugarpaste bugs.
And there were twelve special purple velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing (and no bugs) baked with my newly perfected egg-free velvet recipe!
Nicolene also provided little white boxes for her guests to be able to take a cupcake home with them!
These egg free chocolate cupcakes were ordered for a birthday! The chocolate cakes have chopped walnuts in and are topped with a chocolate butter icing and fondant lettering.
