Vanilla cupcakes with pink marshmallow icing!
Not the best photographs of these I’m afraid…
They’re vanilla cupcakes with creme caramel secret centres, and the icing is actually caramel and a peach-pink butter icing with half the order done in roses and the other half with a Soft Serve swirl and a flake! The sugarpaste 50 is a darker shade of the pink in the icing.
Glenda ordered these red velvet cupcakes in silver paper cups for her wedding reception- some decorated with pink sugarpaste flowers, some with orange sugarpaste flowers and the rest with tiny silver dragees. All of them had white vanilla butter icing on the top, and Glenda wanted the red velvet cupcakes covered so that when her guests unwrapped them they would be surprised.
It completely slipped my mind, but I should have suggested we do pink and orange velvet cupcakes instead!
And here is a photo of moi, setting up the cupcakes at the Crown Mines Golf Club on a stand and decorating it with flowers matching the bride’s colour scheme (flowers and stand provided by the bride).
Had I known my hubby was taking pictures I would have smiled!
Debbie ordered these cupcakes for her daughter’s 21st birthday party.
The vanilla cupcakes were accented with cerise cupcake collars, topped with two-tone pink and white vanilla butter icing and decorated with little multi-coloured sugarpaste orchids.
These were ordered by Justine to serve as her wedding favours and I delivered them to Oakfield Farm this morning.
Here are the jars, with their ribbons and spoons tied on, ready and waiting to be filled with vanilla delicacies!
In these jars, I put vanilla cupcakes layered with white vanilla butter icing, topped with a little lilac glitter and a moulded lilac sugar paste rose.
I then closed the jars with white lids, which had a little thank you sticker on them.
Don’t they look pretty?!
The stickers on the jar lids were provided by Snapping Turtle Design.
