Have you ever heard of a “Tache Bash”? I hadn’t, not until Michelle emailed me after finding me on Facebook, and told me she was arranging a “tache bash” for her husband’s birthday party.

A “tache bash” is a moustache-themed party!

If you’ve spent any time browsing sites like Pinterest or Tumblr, you’ll know that moustaches are far more than just facial hair these days! Tattoos, photo booth props, cookies, jewellery… you name it!

Michelle wanted a selection of sugarpaste moustaches to top a selection of four different cupcakes, and she wanted them wacky and colourful!

Michelle ordered chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate butter icing, white chocolate chip cupcakes with Bar One ganache, chocolate and vanilla marble cupcakes with chocolate butter icing, and Snickers caramel cheesecake cupcakes with cream cheese icing!

These are red velvet and vanilla marble cupcakes with cream cheese icing, packaged using a bride-to-be’s red black and white colour scheme to be cupcake-in-a-jar bridal shower favours!

Tanya orders from me on a regular basis, and since these were on special earlier in December she decided to try something she hadn’t had before.

Karin ordered a selection of cupcakes and a cake for a baby shower that was held at Cafe Blu in Fourways.

These Vegas themed cupcakes were ordered months ago by Leandi to celebrate her 21^st birthday!

Half of her order is the ever decadent red velvet cupcakes and the other half is a very tasty surprise- and my own invention- red velvet and vanilla marble cupcakes!

The 3D toppers were made specially for Leandi by moi. The playing cards arranged in Black Jack pairs are printed on edible paper and mounted on fondant, and the dice are made of solid fondant and painted with edible paint!

Don’t you just love the red and white colour scheme!?
