These are from Rozz for her friend’s birthday.
She wanted different flavours, so she went with 5 red velvet and cream cheese icing (topped with fresh raspberries), 5 chocolate cake “soft serve” cupcakes, and five vanilla cakes stuffed with lemon curd and topped with white butter icing and purple fondant decorations.
I heard about this here compo via Twitter, and then went looking for it!
I have been thinking about baking these particular cupcakes for ages, and the competition was the perfect occasion to test my idea. My knucklehead was kind enough to play cameraman whilst I was baking- and I don’t have any pictures of me actually baking the cupcakes- so thats different. And my fiancé photographed me with the finished cupcakes to send to Yuppiechef.
I used a red velvet recipe that I found- I’m still trying to replace the one I lost- which is divine and velvety, but not red! I iced it with pink and white two-tone butter icing to make it look like the softserve ice cream I grew up with, and then put in a flake to complete the look!!

I made these for a guy who is a big Manchester United fan.
These are chocolate and vanilla marble cupcakes in gold cups, with chocolate butter icing, gold dragees and gold fondant numbers.
These are vanilla cupcakes with a crème-caramel secret-centre in gold cups. I iced them with a red butter icing and decorated them with red and gold sugar sprinkles and fondant soccer balls!

Alida is a repeat customer, and she ordered these for her daddy darling’s birthday celebration!

I also made her one special one to eat since she battles not to eat her orders before she gets where she’s going!!! This one is chocolate cake with chocolate butter icing and chocolate chips!!
These were ordered for a 21st birthday party by the birthday girl’s mommydarling.
They are chocolate creme-caramel secret-centre, and vanilla creme-caramel secret-centre cupcakes in silver cups, topped with purple butter icing, a silver glitter dusted black fondant “21” and silver dragees.
I do hope she enjoyed them, I dropped them at the restaurant where the party was being held so I didn’t meet the birthday girl.
