Glenda ordered these red velvet cupcakes in silver paper cups for her wedding reception- some decorated with pink sugarpaste flowers, some with orange sugarpaste flowers and the rest with tiny silver dragees. All of them had white vanilla butter icing on the top, and Glenda wanted the red velvet cupcakes covered so that when her guests unwrapped them they would be surprised.

It completely slipped my mind, but I should have suggested we do pink and orange velvet cupcakes instead!

And here is a photo of moi, setting up the cupcakes at the Crown Mines Golf Club on a stand and decorating it with flowers matching the bride’s colour scheme (flowers and stand provided by the bride).

Tina is getting married this weekend in a small, intimate ceremony, and she ordered chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with secret centres for her guests to indulge in.

They are topped with two-tone butter icing, the vanilla cupcakes with teal and white and the chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate and teal swirl. They were baked in silver and black paper cups and decorated with tiny silver dragees and glitter.

Louise tied the knot at Oakfield Farm this weekend past and ordered cupcakes instead of a cake. I am really hoping to get photographs from her as she had a pastry chef friend use sugar art to make a cupcake stand for them, and I am just dying to see what it looked like!

Lucille and Christo celebrated their wedding reception at Plus restaurant with these scrumptious red velvet cupcakes that were topped with white vanilla butter icing and little gold dragees to compliment the bride’s antique gown which was adorned with tiny red and gold beads.

The restaurant isn’t very big, but how awesome is this view over Pretoria!!?!
