My Dad’s Birthday Cake

We celebrated my daddy darling’s birthday this weekend past and I told him I’d bake a chocolate cake for him.

This is it! A four layer chocolate cake! One layer sandwiched with strawberry jam, one with caramel and one with chocolate cream cheese icing! The whole cake was then covered with chocolate butter icing and I topped it with a dark chocolate ganache and a ring of glace cherries!

Seriously decadent and incredibly rich- but we finished it! We had this monster chocolate cake as dessert after our birthday braai!
