My nephew just turned 2, and he’s loving the Disney CARS movie at the moment!
For his birthday, I did a chocolate cake, filled it with caramel, and covered it with green vanilla butter icing “grass”. Then I added a sugarpaste road across the middle of the cake, added some sugarpaste stones and sprinkle gravel, and put his name on the side in sugarpaste letters.
We added a of toy car to complete the look and he had rainbow candles to blow out.
He loved it! As soon as we showed it to him he reached up and stuck his fingers into the road, adding “potholes” for good measure!
